New Americans

From border walls to the DREAM Act, policy issues related to immigration have proven to be some of the most divisive of the 21^st century so far. More recently, the COVID-19 crisis shone a spotlight on particular challenges related to immigrants’ role in the workforce and immigrant access to social programs and health care. New Americans is a series organized by the Center on Children and Families focusing on the current policy debate around immigration, in particular immigrants in the labor market and access to the safety net.
