Suzanne Zuidema

Suzanne Zuidema is a Senior Inclusive Education Advisor at the Center for Education at USAID (IPI/EDU). Her role primarily focuses on Disability Inclusive Education, and her areas of specialty are disability inclusive Early Childhood Development and Education in Emergencies. Before joining USAID in August, 2023, Suzanne was most recently deployed as an Education Technical Specialist for Plan International in Poland, as part of the Ukraine refugee response. She has experience supporting educational programs and research in Central/Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Bangladesh, East Africa, and Haiti. Suzanne holds a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University, an M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University, and an Ed.M. in International Educational Development, also from Columbia University.
