Ryan Nunn is an assistant vice president for applied research in Community Development at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Previously, he was a fellow in Economics Studies at the Brookings Institution and policy director for The Hamilton Project. Prior to that role, he was an economist in the Office of Economic Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He has conducted work on a variety of topics ranging from occupational licensing and unemployment insurance to labor market trends and geographic disparities. He received his doctorate in Public Policy and Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
