Lukas Vashold is Research and Teaching Associate at the Institute for Macroeconomics at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien), where he is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation after obtaining his M.Sc. from the same university. His current focus is on Bayesian time series methods in macroeconomics, including their application to international finance and environmental economics. He is a research consultant for the World Bank Group and has previous work experience at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (Austrian Central Bank) as well as several commercial banks.
