Juanita Morales is a senior project coordinator and research assistant at the Center for Universal Education (CUE) within the Global Economy and Development program at Brookings. At CUE, she supports the work of Playful Learning Landscapes, Early Childhood Education, and Strengthening Pedagogical Approaches for Relevant Knowledge and Skills (SPARKS). Prior to her role at Brookings, she worked as a fourth grade elementary school teacher in one of Washington, D.C.’s historically underserved communities. Juanita holds a Bachlor of Arts from Dartmouth College, where she studied philosophy and education.
