WANG Feng was a former director of the Brookings-Tsinghua Center for Public Policy and a senior fellow of Foreign Policy Program at the Brookings Institution. He is widely recognized in both China and the United States for his research on social inequality and the changing demographic face of a rapidly modernizing China. He has conducted social demographic research in China under MacArthur and Ford Foundation grants.
