In 2014, the Center for Effective Public Management at Brookings established the Primaries Project. Researchers associated with the project have closely examined congressional primaries ever since, placing an emphasis on data and analysis to answer questions such as who is running, what issues they are talking about, and how the congressional primaries will shape the next Congress and the 2024 elections.
On September 20, the Center for Effective Public Management held a webinar to discuss the findings from the 2024 Primaries Project and the ramifications for the November elections and beyond.
Viewers submitted questions for speakers by emailing [email protected] or via Twitter at @BrookingsGov by using #CongressionalPrimaries.
