On August 28, Lung Yingtai, Taiwan’s minister of culture, will speak at the George Washington University on the cultural aspects of cross-strait relations between Taiwan and China. Lung Yingtai is a celebrated author, literary critic and intellectual, with a large number of devoted readers in Taiwan and throughout the Chinese-language world.
