On June 28, the Hague Institute for Global Justice, in partnership with the Brookings Insitution and Municipality of the Hague, hosted the second annual Madeleine K. Albright Global Justice Lecture delivered by former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Lloyd Axworthy. Axworthy addressed a range of contemporary global justice issues with which Secretary Albright is closely associated, including the rule of law, the responsibility to protect, and the role of women in global peace, security, and justice.
