At the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Center for Universal Education (CUE) at Brookings hosted a program and reception on education system transformation, including a lively discussion across government, student, civil society, and funder perspectives, featuring the minister of education of Sierra Leone, the president of the LEGO Foundation, the managing director of The Education Partnership Center, and the co-founder of Catalyst 2030.
The reception began with special remarks from Gordon Brown, U.N. Special Envoy for Global Education and former prime minister of the U.K., and Sumbal Naveed, founder of ILFABET and alumna of the Echidna Global Scholar Program, about what CUE has achieved and learned.
