Upcoming Event
As artificial intelligence reshapes classrooms, teaching and learning are changing. A forthcoming report from the Center for Universal Education at Brookings on the potential impacts of generative AI on education finds that without effective guardrails, AI can increase loneliness, create mistrust between students and teachers, and erode children’s agency, autonomy, self-efficacy, and self-confidence.
But it’s not just the future of education that’s uncertain—AI will pervade family and work domains, too, calling into question our senses of purpose, belonging, and mattering. When machines can do so much of what once defined achievement, creativity, and intelligence, how can we safeguard human connection and well-being in a family, school, or work setting?
On December 9, 2025, join us for a panel discussion on cultivating well-being in the age of AI. An expert panel will explore what AI has in store for students this school year and how to maintain human connections and a shared sense of social and civic purpose in an increasingly digital world.
