There are many issues in China’s macro economic environment and financial reforms. Among them, the exchange rate, interest rate, financial reform and custody are the most important issues at present.

The Brookings-Tsinghua Center for Public Policy hosted a seminar on the topic of “China’s Macro Economic Policies and Financial Reform: Key Policy Issues for Research and Debate”, which was moderated by Professor Xue Lan. The speakers were Dr. Xiao Geng, Zhao Haiying, Song Min, Professor Yu Qiao and Huang Yiping, who all gave valuable and brilliant points of view.
