America’s Response to Terrorism: Reaction at Home and Abroad

In an on-going series of press briefings on America’s response to the terrorism threat, Brookings scholars will assess the reaction at home and abroad. Topics to be discussed, among others, include:

  • What kind of support can we expect from Russia and what will Russia expect in return?
  • What is the impact of a conflict in Afghanistan on Central Asia, and what role might those states play in the fight against terrorism?
  • How long will bipartisan cooperation persist on Capitol Hill?
