A conversation about economic growth and dynamism
A kickoff event for the Brookings Blueprints for American Renewal & Prosperity
Past Event
On December 17, Brookings hosted the first in a series of events highlighting transformational ideas that comprise the Blueprints for American Renewal & Prosperity. The first event focused on economic growth and dynamism and featured a panel of Brookings’ scholars discussing their proposals to counter the pandemic, revive the economy, increase opportunity, and reduce inequality. The discussion explored how innovative policies can help ensure that workers, businesses, and regions can stabilize and thrive.
Brookings’s Blueprints for American Renewal & Prosperity are a series of innovative, implementable federal policy ideas to inform a new presidency and Congress amid compounding historic challenges facing our society while an eager world awaits our actions. We welcome federal policymakers to engage with our Blueprint content, which focuses on economic growth and dynamism, racial justice and worker mobility, domestic and international governance, international security, and climate and resilience.
