Après Hong Kong covers the period from 1989 to 1997 in the former British colony, and looks at Hong Kong ahead of its handover to China. Through an in-depth investigation and over 100 one-on-one interviews, it studies the ongoing changes of a territory always on the move, and attempts to forecast the future of Hong Kong as a Chinese Special Administration Region.
