On December 5, 2012, Audrey Singer presented at the Smithsonian Latino Center’s event titled Immigration, Ethnic Economies, and Civic Engagement: Understanding the Latino Experience in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Region.
At the event, Singer placed in the national context recent research from her chapter in the book titled Hispanic Migration and Urban Development: Studies from Washington, DC (Emerald Group Publishing, 2012).
