On foreign policy, Republican candidates are a cast of hawks

The Republican presidential field may be large in number—from Jeb Bush and Scott Walker to Marco Rubio and Rand Paul and Ted Cruz—and differ greatly in style. However, as Richard Skinner notes in this post, the field does not feature a lot of striking differences on foreign policy, and the candidates, with one exception, are competing to see who is the biggest hawk.
