Opportunity 08 hosted a discussion to examine specific policy questions facing the next president in dealing with the Iraq conflict, as well as how to stabilize Afghanistan. Participants included Lee Feinstein, national security director for Hillary Clinton for President; Denis McDonough, foreign policy coordinator for Obama for America; Randy Scheunemann, chief foreign policy advisor for John McCain 2008; and Brookings Senior Fellow Kenneth Pollack, director of research for the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings.
