Summary

The Volcker Commission's hearings on July 15, 17, and 18 will present testimony from leaders of all three branches of government on the current crisis in the public service and opportunities for reform.

On the final morning of hearings on Thursday, July 18, members of the Bush administration and Congress will testify about the state of the federal public service, and what action can be taken to improve the federal government.
