Congress Should Pass Free Trade Agreements with South Korea, Colombia and Panama

Congress could be poised to pass three long-delayed free trade agreements, which promise to create jobs and help boost the anemic economy.  South Korea, Colombia and Panama all hammered out trade deals with the U.S. during President George Bush’s second term but none was able to make it through the political gauntlet on Capitol Hill. Joshua Meltzer is optimistic about the future of these accords and explains why they need to be ratified.
