Sheila Dennis is the Senior Director of Development for the Economic Studies program at Brookings. She brings over 30 years of development experience to Brookings, most recently as the Director of Principal Giving and Interim Associate Dean of Development and External Relations at Harvard Divinity School (HDS), where she established and managed the first principal gift program at HDS as part of a $50M fundraising campaign. Prior to that, Sheila held senior development positions in a wide range of institutions managing the development program and a portfolio of top prospects, including the Wilderness Society, Deerfield Academy, the Union of Concerned Scientists and the Nature Conservancy. Sheila earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College.
