Robert is a nonresident senior fellow at Brookings and a professor at the NYU Stern School of Business and director of its Center for the Future of Management. Previously he served as the senior economist for Technology and Innovation on the White House Council of Economic Advisers. He is the editor of the series The Economics and Regulation of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies as part of the Brookings Center on Regulation and Markets.
