Emily Snider graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Policy Analysis and Management and minors in Applied Economics and Law & Society. At Cornell, she completed an honors thesis examining demographic shifts in undergraduate enrollment following the Students for Fair Admissions v Harvard Supreme Court decision and developed policy proposals through a student-run think tank on issues including paid family leave and housing vouchers. She previously served as a Data and Research Intern at the Social Science Research Council, where she analyzed social determinants of well-being—including educational attainment, income, health, and immigration status—for the Portrait of LA report, and as a Research Fellow at Cornell’s Center for Global Democracy, where she managed and recoded international datasets on democratic resistance events. Her interests lie at the intersection of economic mobility, education, and public policy.
