Reflections on progress: Essays on the global political economy

At a September 12 Brookings Book Club event, author Kemal Derviş shared his insights on the deep economic and political transformations we are witnessing, from the future of globalization to the politics of inequality to the fate of the European Union and other supranational projects. Shawn Donnan, who leads the Financial Times’ coverage of trade and development globally and who also reports on the IMF and World Bank, joined the discussion.
