A Brookings Now blog post in November asked the question, “Will Net Neutrality Rules Fall in Appeals Court Decision?” The answer is, “Yes” after the court ruled today in Verizon v. FCC that the Federal Communications Commission “had failed to cite any statutory authority that would justify its order compelling a broadband provider to adhere to open network management practices.” Get the complete ruling here (pdf).
