This past January, we offered a few predictions for 2015 based on views expressed by ourselves and our guest bloggers. We sat down last week in the Brookings studio to take stock of some of these changes, and review our forecasts from earlier this year. We have three videos for you below highlighting the main surprises of the year: low global economic growth and the continued low oil prices; the sudden surge in the number of refugees seeking entry into Europe; and the apparent success of signing international agreements on the Sustainable Development Goals, financing for development, and carbon emissions.
Future Development will be taking a break until the New Year. We wish you the best for the holidays and look forward to hearing your comments again in January!
