In a new paper, Matthew Kraft, Sohil Malik, and Grace Falken show how climate change is increasingly disrupting the core operations of America’s PreK-12 schools. The table below shows U.S. public schools’ vulnerability to a set of hazards affected by climate change. These classifications are based on FEMA’s National Risk Index estimates.
