Sasha Snyder

Research Assistant – Brookings Institution, Center for Economic Security and Opportunity

Sasha graduated from Williams College with a BA in Economics and English. At Williams, she completed a grant-funded research project examining reentry opportunities for formerly incarcerated individuals in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. She previously served as a research assistant in the Williams Economics Department, where she worked on a project analyzing the mechanization of farm services in Ethiopia, and at the Behavior Change for Good Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she contributed to a large-scale behavioral study aimed at improving outcomes for first-year college students. Her research interests lie at the intersection of economic mobility, criminal justice reform, and public policy.
