Richaa Hoysala is a senior research analyst in the Center for Universal Education within the Global Economy and Development program at Brookings, where she supports research, tool development, and partnerships to advance relational trust and meaningful family, school, and community partnerships. She also helps coordinate the Global Family Engagement in Education Network, a peer-learning community of practice of education actors who discuss and elevate strategies that tackle barriers to engagement.
Prior to her current role, Richaa held teaching, instructional leadership, and program management roles at Columbia World Projects and Teach For India. She holds a Master of Arts in international education development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in economics and mathematics from the University of York.
