Claudia Hui is a project coordinator and research analyst with the Center for Universal Education in the Global Economy and Development program at Brookings. She works with the Gender Equality in and Through Education team and participates in collaborative research projects primarily associated with the Learning and Action Alliance for Girls’ Agency.
Prior to joining Brookings, Hui worked as a high school teacher and school year coordinator in Boston, Hong Kong, and New York. She holds a Master of Arts in international educational development with a concentration in peace and human rights education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in social studies education and bilingual education from Boston University. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
