A Vision for a Healthier D.C .

Alice M. Rivlin

Speaking at the 2006 Annual Meeting of the D.C. Primary Care Association, Alice M. Rivlin described how the District could be a healthier city in ten years. Changes would include increased access to and use of primary and specialty care by low-income residents, greater use of information technology to provide patient information and link health care providers together, and more community outreach, including a community health worker program.
