The 2010 edition of the OECD Employment Outlook reviews the most recent developments in the labor market. It also provides the OECD’s first complete assessment of the scope and effects of the policy measures put forward during the current economic crisis. The book focuses on policies and institutions to promote a quick return to work and prevent long-term unemployment and on policies to foster skills development. The analysis and policy recommendations are accompanied by a rich statistical annex including standardized unemployment rates and incidence and composition of part-time employment.
