Education at a Glance

For a number of years, OECD has been publishing an annual book titled Education at a Glance. It features a series of educational indicators which show how educational systems in OECD countries compare with regard to expenditure, enrollment, attainment, and personnel. This year, for the first time, we are making these indicators along with related background data available in CD-ROM format. There will not be a new edition of the book this year. This product provides two sets of data: the OECD Education Database and OECD Education Indicators. Data are given for the years 1995-1996, and provide valuable information on: human and financial resources; how education and learning systems operate and evolve; and the returns on investment in education.
