That morning, the court’s conservative majority ruled 6-3 in the case Dobbs v. Jackson. This ruling brings an end to the federal protection of abortion access granted by Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. States across the country fully closed all abortion clinics shortly after the ruling was handed down.
