Weak States and the Summit of the Americas

The Summit of the Americas opens in Trinidad and Tobago next week where leaders of the Western Hemisphere will address political, economic and social issues affecting Latin America. Fellow Vanda Felbab-Brown previews the talks and outlines some of the key issues up for discussion, including the role of the United States.
