The Merits and Politics of Boehner’s Suing the President

Today, the Republican-led House Rules Committee moved forward on Speaker Boehner’s effort to sue President Obama over waivers issued in connection to Affordable Care Act mandates. The Rules Committee approved a resolution that will now proceed to the full House for a vote. Politico is reporting that the House is expected to vote on the resolution next week.
