Technological Advances in Health Care

November 4, 2009

Technological advances in health care can give consumers more control over key aspects of their care and health outcomes. Expanded use of digital innovation can also reduce costs and help physicians administer care more effectively. Brookings Vice President Darrell West examines the benefits of new technology in the medical system and what it will mean for the quality, accessibility and affordability of health care.

On November 5, Brookings hosted an event, What Health Care Innovation Means for Consumers, that discussed these issues.
