President Obama’s Televised Health Care Summit

February 24, 2010

President Obama will open the doors of the Blair House tomorrow for a live, televised debate on health care reform. Lawmakers from both parties will hammer out details for reworking how health care services are provided, as the President moderates the forum. Darrell West, director of the Governance Studies program, says the talks provide both Republicans and Democrats with an opportunity to present their ideas directly to the American people.
