Il neonazionalismo della diaspora

May 1, 2008

ENGLISH ABSTRACT

Beijing’s increasing confidence, diplomatic dexterity and military capability would, if plotted on a chart, produce a growth curve that is every bit as impressive as the country’s recent economic performance. Observers have described China’s expanding clout in southeast and northeast Asia, its thickening ties with US treaty allies such as South Korea and Australia, its emerging influence in resource-rich countries in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, its role in the new Asian institutions such as the East Asia Summit and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and its quickening interactions with the United Nations. Another important element is China’s changing relationship with its diaspora.
