In April 2016, the international community will meet at the United Nations Special Session on the World Drug Problem to consider if and how the world’s drug regime should be (re)designed. The goal of the gathering should be to inject realism into the global discussion of drug policy objectives, instead of once again setting an unattainable goal of a drug-free world.
