Testimony: Iran’s Destabilizing Role in the Middle East

As the July 20 deadline for the nuclear negotiations between the P5+1 and Iran approaches, the issue of Iran’s nuclear program, and the regime’s destabilizing role in the Middle East, will continue to be a concern for U.S. and Israeli policymakers. Natan Sachs, fellow at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy, argues that both Israel and the United States must maintain a vigilant and pragmatic watch over Iran’s policies in the future.

Editor’s note: On July 16, Natan Sachs delivered testimony on Israel and Iran’s role in the Middle East before a hearing of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. Read his prepared testimony here.
