Iraq is Burning…Again

Recent reports that Sunni militants have taken over a significant portion of the city of Mosul expose just how bad things have gotten inside Iraq since U.S. troops left the scene. In a new op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, Kenneth M. Pollack, senior fellow at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy, presents his take on the current situation and offers recommendations for how the Obama administration can use what leverage it still has to help avert disaster in Iraq.
