Transparent Governance in Latin America’s Extractive Industries

On November 4, the Latin America and Energy Security initiatives at Brookings and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) hoted a discussion on governance and institutional capacity in the extractive sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. This event drew on findings from the new book,Transparent Governance in an Age of Abundance: Experiences from the Extractive Industries in Latin America and the Caribbean, published by the IDB.
