Wang Tianfu was a nonresident senior fellow of the Brookings-Tsinghua Center for Public Policy, focusing on China’s social stratification, household wealth accumulation, urban change, and sociology of the family. He is a professor and chair of sociology and deputy dean of the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Wang has published papers in Social Sciences in China and Sociological Studies and is on the international editorial board of Social Forces.
