    accounting_population_effects.xlsx - is extracted from Elmendorf and Williams (2024) reflecting estimates produced by the Penn Wharton Budget Model. URL: https://budgetmodel.wharton.upenn.edu/issues/2024/1/18/population-change-effect-immigration-policies-on-federal-budget.
    Histogram_Yearly_data_duplicates_removed.csv - is extracted from CBO’s cost estimates from the 116th, 117th, and 118th Congresses through January 2024, together with GDP as a reference for computing gross budgetary effects. URL: https://www.cbo.gov/cost-estimates/xml
