Cooperation and coordination across policy domains

Donald Kohn, the Robert V. Roosa Chair in International Economics at Brookings and an External Member of the Financial Policy Committee of the Bank of England, gave a speech on the cooperation challenges across monetary policy, macroprudential, and microprudential policies at the Joint Financial Stability Institute and Bank for International Settlements conference on supervisory policy implementation in the current macro-financial environment in 2017. In the speech, Kohn addresses the interactions between policies, the importance of coordination and cooperation, as well as the implications for supervision.
