The Middle East is Changing: But is U.S. Policy?

Shadi Hamid argues that, contrary to what some have suggested, the Obama administration has not realigned U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. According to Hamid, it is easy to support the winners after they have already won, as in Egypt or Tunisia, but the United States must shift its policy to better support revolutions in vital countries such as Bahrain, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
