In a speech before the Brookings Council in New York, Bruce Katz outlined the unique challenges facing one of the most metropolitan states in the country, but also touted the assets New York can use to move toward the next economy. By increasing exports, Katz argues, New York, along with the rest of the United States, can usher in a new era of prosperity.
