This presentation shows that there are three basic factors needed to be present in an area in order for its biotechnology industry to flourish: 1) Place still matters, even in a quintessential knowledge industry, 2) not just research, but the ability to turn ideas into businesses, and 3) the power of clustering provides decisive business advantages.
