Metros at the Vanguard of Exports and Trade: Delivering the Next U.S. Economy

On April 3, Amy Liu gave a presentation at NASBITE’s Annual Forum in Memphis, TN. The theme of the presentation was the importance of exports for economic growth and the role of cities and metro areas as centers of exports. Despite national progress with exports, the U.S. remains an under exporter. Meanwhile, cities and metro areas are at the vanguard of helping the economy become more productive, globally oriented and prosperous.
